Delaware
With all but six players returning from last year's squad, Delaware is loaded with talent and experience. Senior attackman Curtis Dickson, a first team All-CAA selection, returns as the Blue Hen's leading scorer alongside fellow All-CAA middie Martin Cahill.
Hofstra
The Pride enter the season ranked No. 10 and appear to be the class of the new and improved CAA. Junior Jay Card, the reigning CAA Player of the Year, spearheads an attack that also features Denver transfer Jamie Lincoln.
Virginia
If championships are won at the midfield, the Cavaliers are in good shape. Shamel Bratton and Brian Carroll return to lead the most talented and experienced group in the nation. The pre-season No. 3 'Hoos have to solve questions at attack and in net.
North Carolina
The first year under alum Joe Breschi was an unqualified success, with an NCAA Quarterfinals appearance and a bumper recruiting crop. How will Breschi's sophomore season go with junior attackman Billy Bitter and Co. in a loaded ACC?
Princeton
Season One of the Chris Bates Era begins in New Jersey, but Bill Tierney left a pretty full cupboard before he left. Young stars Jack McBride (a 2009 Face-Off Classic MVP), Chad Wiedmaier and Tyler Fiorito have the No. 8 Tigers looking for another NCAA run.
Syracuse
The Orange lost plenty of leadership from last year's NCAA Championship squad, but everybody said the same thing after the '08 title. With Cody Jamieson, Stephen Keogh, Joel White and some talented newcomers, 'Cuse has a shot at the three-peat in 2010.
